I get busy with day to day stuff or I am stitching on a new design or charting something and before I know the day is gone.<br />
<br />
I am so happy to see so many reproduction samplers reproduced lately. They are my favorites and there are some beauties out there, in fact, I could not resist purchasing a couple myself. When I will have time to stitch them is a mystery but at least I have them when I'm ready.<br />
<br />
Over the years I have purchased several antique samplers and have a small collection. About 10 years ago I reproduced Ann Merchant, and I think it is still out there in some shops. Merchant was my mother's maiden name and so I knew Ann had to be a relative since the sampler was found in the area where the Merchant Family lived in the 1800's. In fact, she turned out to be a distant cousin. The sampler was in bad shape when I rescued it but I have since had it put in a archival frame and hung it on my wall next to the reproduced Ann Merchant. <br />
<br />
Over the last few months, I have been working on another...Ann Hughes. I guess Ann was a very popular name. Poor Ann's sampler is also on need of some restoration, so since I have finished charting her, she will be re-framed and enjoyed for many years to come. I have just few more stitches to go and her reproduction will be complete. The antique Ann Hughes was a little tricky to chart...wherever she was stored all these years, it left her so dirty and faded it was very hard to tell what colors in which she had been stitched. Even the back was very faded but I was able to see some hues of pink, green, brown, blue and red. So I reproduced it as best as I could...I think Ann would be happy. Here's a little peek.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9erK4SArEwg/XLdMiqKAtZI/AAAAAAAAA9c/Mjyvh6fcCx4dkAvFKWCduGitNi2TXWh5QCLcBGAs/s1600/DSC_1419.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1486" data-original-width="1600" height="297" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9erK4SArEwg/XLdMiqKAtZI/AAAAAAAAA9c/Mjyvh6fcCx4dkAvFKWCduGitNi2TXWh5QCLcBGAs/s320/DSC_1419.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ann Hughes</div>
<div>
I am hoping to get her to the framers later this week and then I will release the chart in the next few weeks.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I have now begun another reproduction from my collection...Mary Pilgrim. I have charted little motifs from her but she will now get fully reproduced. She is taking more time because she has some specialty stitches and was stitched on 52 count linen with silk thread. I can only chart a few motifs a day...I have to wear my readers, and a magnifying glass with my Ott desk lamp.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><div>

<div>
It's going to be awhile before she is reproduced!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div>
So this is how it all began...samplers! I learned to cross stitch because I loved samplers and I will enjoy stitching every minute of Mary Pilgrim.</div>

I hope the Christmas season brought you joy and happiness and time spent with family and friends. I also hope you had a little time to stitch. I tried to get a little in everyday and saved some time to watch my favorite flosstube videos. Here are some of my favorites...although I keep finding more to watch every week.<br />
<br />
I love Shirl at Tranquil Stitches. She is from West Virginia. I was born in West Virginia and lived there until I was 16. I have lived in Texas for over 40 years! Well, that was hard to write! Anyway, I think I'm still a West Virginia girl at heart and Shirl is so sweet and gracious. And of course Kitten Stitcher...down to earth and I already feel like I know her and she loves cats. I love cats...and dogs. She is sweet and funny. I love Priscilla and Chelsea, especially because they are a mother/daughter team. It is just great that they have the same love of stitching and like spending time together! The Kindred Stitcher...love her projects and Farm Girl and I could go on and on. Such inspiration!<br />
<br />
Well here is my new design so you can think about Spring, if it is still cold and dreary where you live.<br />

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Hoping Everyone had a very Merry Christmas! My new design "Winter Time" is now available at your LNS or online store.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I finished this design using a frame that I purchased at Hobby Lobby..it was 50% off and was $20. It has three nice metal clips, it is metal all the way around and has a wooden inside. It is very sturdy...that's great because I am going to change it up for every season. I added the ribbon on the top and bottom. It is hot glued on and I should be able to take it off the metal easily when I decorate it for Spring!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I finished my design as a flat piece, added some Lady Dot Creates "Vintage" chenille and used a coordinating piece of fabric on the back. It easily fits between the two clips on and then on the right side I added my calendar.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
2018 was a great year for Abby Rose Designs! Thank you to all who have purchased my designs! I have some new things that I am working on for 2019 and will try to add some "sneak peaks". Thanks again! Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!</div>

<br />
Good Afternoon Everyone! I wanted to show you my new design, Blessings Be Upon This House. It was stitched on 28 count Platinum Linen. It was a fun stitch and came together quickly.<br />
<br />
I have been watching a lot of You Tube Videos lately on different crafty things. I am always so amazed at the talent and great projects out there. I got completely into coffee filter wreaths which are so beautiful.... you can see a little bit of mine in the photo behind the frame. I will take a picture when I hang it. It was so easy. I did burn my fingers many, many times with the glue gun but I survived.<br />
<br />
And my favorite floss tubes are: Flannel Jammies Farm, Kitten Stitcher and Priscilla and Chelsea. I said I wasn't going to get addicted to these things...but happily I am.<br />
<br />
Hope you have a great week!<br />

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Good Morning Everyone!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I wanted to show you my new series, " Long May She Wave" ! I have been working on this since the beginning of the year trying to get it ready for you to stitch and finish to display during July 4th.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a peek of all of the parts. It will be released in 4 parts beginning with the "Long May She Wave" pillow and little hanging Flag pin keep. Part One of the series was released on Friday and your local needlework should have it in a day or two.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5JGyomqw4_4/WsJN5tPuA5I/AAAAAAAAA04/HhbC42IvaDAMh-c8kPhGsCfC6YArC0vbwCLcBGAs/s1600/long%2Bmay%2Bshe%2Bwave%2B101.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1044" data-original-width="1600" height="207" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5JGyomqw4_4/WsJN5tPuA5I/AAAAAAAAA04/HhbC42IvaDAMh-c8kPhGsCfC6YArC0vbwCLcBGAs/s320/long%2Bmay%2Bshe%2Bwave%2B101.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Part Two will be released in May. It is the 1776 box you see in the carrier. More to come on it later.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Part Three includes another pillow, "In God We Trust" also with a little bonus pattern.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And finally Part 4 will be the American The Beautiful Game board displayed at the right in the photo.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The carrier for this series was purchased at Hobby Lobby. It was an unfinished piece and cost about $10. I gave it a good sanding and then applied 2 coats of America Paint in Oyster Beige. I then stencils the stars on the front and back with Americana Deep Blue Paint then Antiquing gel in Espresso to age it. I applied more around the edges and handle to give it well used look. It was a quick, easy and fun little project and came out looking great.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here is a closer view of "Long May She Wave" Part One.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
All parts of this series were stitched on 32 count Summer Khaki Linen, and I used all Gentle Arts Sampler Threads.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hope you have a great week!</div>

Spring has Sprung as they say...here is South Texas. Yesterday is was in the low 90's and I think we are just about done with cold fronts. Come September/October after a long hot summer I will be longing for cool weather again.<br />
<br />
Today, I wanted to show you my new design and tell you about some other designs that will be coming soon.<br />
<br />
Hopefully this one will be releasing on Friday. It is called "Spring Is Here". Just a fun little stitch on<br />
32 count Pearled Barley using GAST and WDW threads.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-95MZhP6Y0T0/Wq_WIG9z_cI/AAAAAAAAAzs/2PgoeFjPXhUT2lAtLyTIaUFte92tHgT1wCLcBGAs/s1600/Spring%2Bis%2BHere%2B1.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" data-original-height="1240" data-original-width="1600" height="306" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-95MZhP6Y0T0/Wq_WIG9z_cI/AAAAAAAAAzs/2PgoeFjPXhUT2lAtLyTIaUFte92tHgT1wCLcBGAs/s400/Spring%2Bis%2BHere%2B1.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
What's next? I thought it would be fun to do a patriotic themed series. So I have designed 4 projects that you will be able to put together in a lovely display. I think you will love how I have chosen to display them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am hoping to have a April 1st release on the first project. They will be released April-June so you will have your project complete to display on July 4th.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Please check back as I will be giving sneak peeks of the entire project over the next few weeks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And..almost forgot to tell you. I am planning some giveaways during the releases of these projects.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And...thank you to all who ordered Pineapple Sewing Boxes. I hope you loved them! I thought I would never finish painting boxes. It was a happy problem to have... my next love after stitching is painting! There just might be another one coming down the lane... maybe around May! hint hint!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hope you have a great day...keep stitching!</div>

My latest is called "Welcome Spring"! I know a lot of my dear friends are still dealing with snow and cold weather but I thought this design might help a little until Spring officially arrives. It will go out to distributors this week so you should be able to get it very soon.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-G2GQYNQ6h4Q/Wnswpp0I_ZI/AAAAAAAAAyg/tPDTf060X9UhjNCwFJKG6bK5EfLIiGvaACLcBGAs/s1600/DSC_1079.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1375" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-G2GQYNQ6h4Q/Wnswpp0I_ZI/AAAAAAAAAyg/tPDTf060X9UhjNCwFJKG6bK5EfLIiGvaACLcBGAs/s320/DSC_1079.JPG" width="275" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I finished them as ornaments in an egg shape but you could stitch as little pillows if you'd like.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You will get three designs. The middle design is a surprise...hint, you will get to practice some specialty stitches. Not hard though. I made a pink box for my Easter eggs and since I don't have an ornament tree, I put my stitched egg in there also.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think I am way behind on updating this blog...so I will add my other designs which have already been released in 2018. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is Primitive Hearts, a fun and easy stitch! <br />

And "Friends Gather Here".<br />
<br />
<br />
In January I was "up to my ears" in painted boxes. Thank you to all the shops who ordered! I had a great time working on them. I love to paint and kind of experimented with stenciling for a while before I was ready to release my kit. Had to get the technique down. It was too cold to go out so painting boxes kept me busy! Thank you for all the orders... I will do another one soon. I think I have 5 left..so if you didn't get one, let me know.<br />

Where has the summer gone? It seems like it was just spring and now August is already half way gone. I have been busy though and have failed to add my latest designs to this blog.<br />
<br />
Since my little Christmas in July Trio, I have added my "Read Me A Story" design. I found this verse somewhere....wish I could remember where. When I see or hear a sweet verse I write it in a little notebook I keep to use later. Some get used right away some stay in the little notebook for a while until some inspiration hits me. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3zgcnRFUAsM/WZndW7wbgNI/AAAAAAAAAuk/iG4qmmExNxEYrwvgoorjfxa25Lh-qKXBwCLcBGAs/s1600/Read%2BMe%2BA%2BStory.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1593" data-original-width="1600" height="318" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3zgcnRFUAsM/WZndW7wbgNI/AAAAAAAAAuk/iG4qmmExNxEYrwvgoorjfxa25Lh-qKXBwCLcBGAs/s320/Read%2BMe%2BA%2BStory.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I chose these colors so it could go into any child's bedroom, boy or girl. You could change the colors to fit your needs...or even turn it into a wall hanging. Grandmas, this is a good stitch for your favorite grandchildren...of course they are all favorite grandchildren.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Coming soon...they release to the distibutors next friday... my mini sampler stocking. It is small and will be a nice addition to your ornament collection.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WX1KYwkbXLc/WZner2ZqVPI/AAAAAAAAAuw/kEAUNAsSJG46bZjAaGWeAzEnsAlms8tqgCLcBGAs/s1600/Mini%2BStocking.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1407" data-original-width="1600" height="281" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WX1KYwkbXLc/WZner2ZqVPI/AAAAAAAAAuw/kEAUNAsSJG46bZjAaGWeAzEnsAlms8tqgCLcBGAs/s320/Mini%2BStocking.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I left the toe area open so you could add initials or the year. I also added the stocking template to the design pattern. It was a lesson in patience for me to get my design inside of my stocking template but after several tweaks I finally got it balanced and a template that resembled a stocking! It is a flat finish and I used mini pom pom trim by Lady Dot Creates.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Finally to say so long to summer...I'm working on harvest and Christmas now, "The Flower Gatherer" is my final for this season.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-q84Rizu-Cgk/WaNQsSj8pGI/AAAAAAAAAv0/wlisX2_XEu4v5v4TjYGdUy5mW94XTDDCwCEwYBhgL/s1600/The%2BFlower%2BGatherer%2Bcoorected.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1522" data-original-width="1600" height="304" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-q84Rizu-Cgk/WaNQsSj8pGI/AAAAAAAAAv0/wlisX2_XEu4v5v4TjYGdUy5mW94XTDDCwCEwYBhgL/s320/The%2BFlower%2BGatherer%2Bcoorected.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I just love this saying...I think it is so true and wanted to use it on something. So my pretty little flower gathering lady got it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As you know I have been one of the designers for Inspired Sampler Club from the Inspired Needle. My second design called "Thankful Hearts" will be released soon. I believe it is scheduled for an end of August release. It was designed with the Harvest season in mind. If you are interested in joining the club, contact Cathy at the Inspired Needle for more information. You can still join and I think you can get all the club projects. I will let Cathy release a photo first but will be back with more details later....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
One last thing for shop owners... Norden Crafts is running a 10% off sale on all Abby Rose Designs patterns that they have already stocked. Supplies are limited and only apply what is in their inventory. There are quite a few of early Abby Rose Designs patterns available.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Enjoy the rest of your summer!</div>

I have three new Christmas in July designs to show you and then hopefully I will get into the the Autumn mood...I'm a little turned around I guess! <br />
<br />
The first two have already been released but I will give you a peek of the third which will be out soon.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gfulsoL5voA/WWpUGV_NMMI/AAAAAAAAAuE/dV8cfvnMUYUxEfEQOMAHiIEJj_xz_ee2ACLcBGAs/s1600/DSC_0758.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="574" data-original-width="1600" height="227" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gfulsoL5voA/WWpUGV_NMMI/AAAAAAAAAuE/dV8cfvnMUYUxEfEQOMAHiIEJj_xz_ee2ACLcBGAs/s640/DSC_0758.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
All three are stitched on WDW 30 count Cocoa linen. And Good Tidings to You and Comfort and Joy have already released and are available at your local needlework store. O Come All Ye Faithful will be released soon. They are easy to stitch up and measure approx 71/2 by 71/2 inches. Perfect sized little pillows to display in your dough bowls. <br />
<br />
I had been doing a little family genealogy and was researching in the colonial period and the ideal of stitching something in that time period kept coming to mind. I hope you enjoy stitching them as much as I enjoyed designing them.<br />
<br />
I have a couple more designs in the works and will be back later on with some updates on those....<br />
<br />
My second design for the Inspired Needle, aka, Inspired Needle Club will be released at the end of August. You can email Cathy at the Inspired Needle if you are interested in joining her club. Hint: I used Autumn colors for the next one!<br />
<br />
I hope you are enjoying your summer...it is going by very fast!<br />

Since my last post I have my first 2017 Christmas design finished and ready to release. I heard from many of you and you like to start stitching Christmas patterns in the summer when you have more time....I can understand that. I usually wait until about October to release any thing Christmasy...Is that even a word? Anyway, I have long wanted to design something colonial but just never did it. So a couple of months ago I was searching through my "designs not finished" file. Those are the designs that you get an idea and get started and nothing else comes to you. So you put them away and then finally one day you are ready to complete them. <br />
<br />
There are three in this series and I will be released as they are finished.<br />
The first is called, And Good Tidings to You, the second is called, "Comfort and Joy and the final is "All Come All Ye Faithful". They are the same size so you could stitch them together or single and framed or a small pillow. I finished<br />
this one as a pillow. They are all stitched on Weeks Dye Works Cocoa 30 count linen.<br />
<br />
Here is a photo of "And Good Tidings To You". It will be released next Friday through Hoffman to a local needlework store near you.<br />

Tea For Two is being released today as a chart. Thanks to everyone who loved it and wanted to stitch it but unfortunately I ran out of some of the supplies and was unable to get them again. So now you can get the chart and put your own creative ideas to it.<br />
<br />
I don't know what the weather is where you live but it is getting very hot here in Texas. I live in southern Texas where it is sub-tropical. We are located near beautiful South Padre Island, where I try to spend a little time each summer. But until I get there... I will be inside where it is cool with a big glass of iced tea working on needlework projects!<br />
<br />
Have a great summer! I be back again with some new designs to keep you busy this summer.<br />

It seems like time is flying by and I can't keep up with all the projects that I have going! After my retirement last October, one of my goals was to increase the number of designs that I put out. I thought, I did about 6-7 year when I was working full time so it should be easy to double that..... I started out with a bang and then slowly other things seem to take me away from my stitching. How did I do all the the things I did when I was working? Beats me! I guess I'm slower now! ;)<br />
<br />
Anyway, I've picked my needle and thread back up and have quite a few projects coming down the lane. I do have to tell you, I now have a model stitcher who helps me. Her name is Donna Ennis and she is from Florida. We have developed our system of how to get things back and forth to each other and I am so happy to have her helping me. She is a beautiful stitcher and fast too!<br />
<br />
So what's coming up...Well I now have a candle box from Lone Elm Lane. If you don't know who they are by now, they make the most beautiful wooden boxes and frames for stitchers. I chose the candle box because I liked the slide lid and compartments. My design is almost finished and should be out soon. I chose the color paprika, so if you like it, let them know.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FryZ6_vwjHg/WTxlviQU3tI/AAAAAAAAAsc/JNu8D36R8VoklrKdEYnmJP-bdNWXxvdXACLcB/s1600/DSC_0672.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1064" data-original-width="1600" height="132" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FryZ6_vwjHg/WTxlviQU3tI/AAAAAAAAAsc/JNu8D36R8VoklrKdEYnmJP-bdNWXxvdXACLcB/s200/DSC_0672.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
See here's my box ....no design yet. Isn't it cute?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For those of you that were not able to get my "Tea For Two Kit" in early January, good news is I have published the chart and it will be available from Hoffman next week. I was unable to locate more of the fabric that I used and the ribbon company went our of business! But I am sure you will be able to find some coordinating fabric and ribbon in your stash. Thank you for the e-mails about the chart...I heard you and it will be out soon.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have three Colonial Christmas mini pillows in the works. I know everyone likes to start their Christmas stitching early so they should be released in late June and early July! It seems to me like Christmas was just here...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Also another design with a cute saying on it....and I have just finished my part 2 design for the Inspired Sampler Club. It's not stitched...just designed!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am also hoping to get my yearly Halloween design completed soon. I have to tell you, I have projects on every table in my house and little studio.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Today I put away my needle and thread and painted. A few years ago I distressed some paper mache boxes for myself and a couple of friends. A new friend is in love with my Christmas box and asked if I would make one for her. So today, I worked on it.</div>

Her's says Tis the Season...mine are on the top. These are so fun to make and they really don't take a lot of time. I put them here because you really could put a needlework design on the top of them. IF you are looking for another summer project. You can make them any color, any size and I use stencils for the words and some of mine have designs. I'm always looking for new places to put designs. I have a bunch of framed pieces and a ton of pillows already! The boxes are very sturdy. Anyway there is never a dull moment around here! </div>

Hopefully, my next post I will have some pictures of finishes! Have a great summer!</div>

A couple of things to show you this week... I gave you a peek last week of my new design for the Inspired Sampler Club but since Cathy has sent it out to the club members, I wanted to show you the entire piece. If you would like to stitch it, you can contact Cathy at the Inspired Needle to get more information. She has turned it into a kit with all the thread and the fabric you will need to complete it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Since this is my first club, I am especially proud of Glad Hearts. Jan Alexander, who did the first piece has called her's Everlasting Love. What a great name! It will be her turn again in a couple of months and then I will follow with "Thankful Hearts" just in time for fall stitching!</div>

This is my next piece which will probably be out next week through Hoffman! I know I have completely skipped over summer stitching! I designed Spring and Summer Pin Pillows in 2016 and promised a few of you that I would eventually get to the Autumn and Winter. Winter is designed but still needs to be stitched. I think you will like it though...it features some rich Christmas colors. I am also thinking of my yearly Halloween design, with my beloved witch who has no name, but needs one.... Any ideas? And then I have 3 Christmas Ornaments in the works! I now have a great model stitcher, Donna Ennis, from Florida who is now helping me get all of these things stitched! What a relief! She stitched Glad Hearts for me...in record time!</div>
